The last month or so has been pretty crazy for me. Crazy in the sense that i’ve been almost completely stationary the entire time. I spent a week living with a couple friends of mine in TO, but other then that i’ve been about as normal as life gets.
My visa ran out April 28, so April 27 I flew to my mothers house. That’s where I’ve been ever since. Thanks to the dudes in...

Hanging out with most of my favourite people is always a good time. Just to give you a quick rundown of what happened yesterday - ice skating, birthday party, jam session, movie, campfire, Settlers of Catan.
It’s amazing how board games that I play somehow always hinge on relationship politics rather than the game itself.
Also, I need to buy a telecaster.
My Home and Native Land!
So I’m back in Canada this month.
We played some shows up here at the end or March and on the way back the Good Lord decided to emphasize to me the importance of integrity in all areas of my life. I felt like He made his point pretty clear when the border guard told me point blank he didn’t believe I wasn’t working in the US. I was officially kicked out of the country as of...

I thought I’d take a break from bleaching my bathroom to give you a quick update of what I’ve been up to lately other then that…
I’ve been to Texas since my last post. We spent some time in Dallas, and then drove to Houston for the weekend. Particularily Dallas was fantastic. Time there included a personal tour through the huge Prestonwood Baptist Church, amazing food, and great...

Personal Reflections.
I’ve been inspired to write this entry because of The Classic Crime’s singer’s latest blog entry. He wrote something about what he wants his blog to be, or something. I’m not going to tell you about my desires for this one. So far it’s looking more like a personal chamelon than anything else.
The last week or so has been interesting. I spent most of last weekend...
There’s something I love about music.
It can do things to me that nothing else can.
Sometimes when I listen to it I am brought somewhere emotionally that I wouldn’t get to otherwise. Whether that be a great passion for travelling the world around me, a longing for social justice or even a hole in my heart.
Other times the same song can mean nothing. I’ve listened to particular...
Lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground!
Browsing through my Mashable feed this morning I came upon this article. It’s talking about the latest internet meme, an audition on last nights American Idol episode of an Atlanta man singing an original song called Pants on the Ground.
What amazes me is the exposure that the video has gotten in the last 24 hours. As of now, the video is standing around 265 thousand hits since it was...
I’m leaving soon.
I don’t update my tumblr on a regular basis yet, so I know you don’t know. As of nexttuesday i’ll be back in Georgia.
Going down there will mean a lot of changes for me.
for one, i’m excited to go and actually do something with my time. I’ve been reading a lot over christmas, so i’ve got a lot of ideas percolating in my head. it is...
Skinny Jeans = New Backstage Pass?
It’s rare that someone’s assumption about you works to your advantage.
For New Years this year a few close friends and I decided we were going to head up to Nathan Phillips Square for the 25th annual NYE celebration in Toronto.
After dealing with the weather, the hassle getting into and eventual checking out of our hotel, lost friends and the terrible TTC, we converged on the...
